Entropy Chess is a competitive chess platform for iOS and Android that lets you solve a daily chess puzzle, play against a ladder of rated AI bots, or challenge real players, and earn ETRPY cryptocurrency tokens for winning. It is free to download and free to play.
What is the daily chess puzzle?
Every player gets the same chess puzzle each day, drawn from the Lichess open puzzle database. You get one attempt. Solving it earns 500 ETRPY and extends your streak. The day rolls over at your own local midnight, using your device time zone, so the boundary does not shift on you when the clocks change.
How does the puzzle streak work?
Your streak counts consecutive days on which you solved the puzzle. Longer streaks pay more: 1.25x at 7 days, 1.5x at 30 days, and 2x at 100 days, capped at 1,000 ETRPY for any single puzzle. Missing a day breaks the streak unless you spend 2,000 ETRPY on a streak freeze, and you can hold up to three at once.
What is ETRPY?
ETRPY is an SPL utility token on the Solana blockchain used within the Entropy Chess ecosystem. Players earn ETRPY through the daily puzzle, gameplay, daily logins, and watching rewarded ads. ETRPY has a fixed total supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens with mint and freeze authority permanently revoked.

What is the ETRPY three-tier balance system?
Entropy Chess uses three balance tiers. Promotional comes from bonuses, is spent first, and is not withdrawable. Pending comes from ad views, is spent second, and is not withdrawable. Earned comes from game wins, puzzle solves, and feedback, is spent last, and is the only balance eligible for withdrawal.
How does Entropy Chess prevent cheating?
Entropy Chess uses a multi-layer anti-cheat system called the Silent Watchdog. Every multiplayer game is analyzed by a server-side Stockfish engine at depth 15, checking move correlation and centipawn loss. Behavioral timing analysis detects robotic patterns, and hardware attestation via Apple App Attest and Google Play Integrity blocks emulators and bots.
What happens to ETRPY when I play a multiplayer match?
Each player stakes 500 ETRPY to enter, creating a 1,000 ETRPY pool. The winner receives 900 ETRPY to their Earned balance. The remaining 100 ETRPY is permanently burned on-chain, reducing total supply. Draws are refunded in full with no rake.
